Here are some pictures from the days when I played for Whitnash Juniors FC. I can only estimate that they are around about 1981 or 1982 (you can tell from the haircut and the trousers!!). I am sure that I haven't put these photos in order, if anyone can help with dates or fill in the missing names I would be grateful.

These two pictures I think are from when we won the League Supplementary Cup but again I don't know the year. From looking at the size of the shorts it's a wonder we could walk let alone play football!!

Difficult to make everyone out but I can see Ally Myton, James O'Brien (next to the girl), I can't make out the first three seated lads but they might be James McGarvey, Steve Byrne and Frank Cronin, then Richard Alderman, Barry White, John Shepherd, Dave Moreton (keeper) and Ami Dhesi.

We won a whole load of honours. I know that we won the league once or twice and also a couple of cups but my memory isn't good enough to recall the detail. I also know that we played in the U-17's in the Coventry league twice. Can anyone help me with dates and details?



And this is how it all started. The core of Whitnash Juniors was formed from the Whitnash lads who travelled over to the Kenilworth Road to play for St Peter's. Who can forget those training sessions down at St Peter's church with Father Penny... ahem... best leave it there really...
Now this is 1977, my memory really doesn't travel well. I know that I really should know these names.
