The surgery was originally built on this site in 1984 as a small branch surgery to what was then our main surgery in Brunswick Street.
In 1995 we closed the Brunswick Street surgery, substantially extended the present building so that we run the practice from one site in order to serve the community of Whitnash.
We therefore have modern purpose built premises which are now fully computerised.
It was originally called South farm but, as that name seems to be disappearing into history and local people don't know where it is, we decided to rename the surgery as Whitnash Medical Centre in order to emphasise our commitment to serving the local population.
We are fully staffed with appropriate number of nurses, health visitors etc. and pride ourselves on being more accessible.
We have actually pre-empted the Government guidelines on more easy access to GPs and can guarantee an appointment on the same day with a doctor.
